
This course will introduce you to the principles of trauma-informed care for children and teens. It satisfies requirements of the National Traumatic Stress Network’s essential skills for trauma-informed care.

Who Qualifies:
This course is for parents, guardians and extended family of children and teens who have experienced trauma. Anyone who is supporting these types of parents is also welcome. This includes church staff, neighbors, teachers and service providers.
What You’ll Learn:
– How trauma affects brain health and development
– The relationship between trauma and behaviors
– Skills to increase healing and resiliency in children/teens
Limited seats are available. Participants will receive a training certificate for 6 hours of training upon completion.
