Do you have a passion for mental health from a Christian worldview? Sustaining Hope for High Impact Parents is seeking qualified individuals from various backgrounds to fulfill roles on its inaugural board of directors.
SHHIP is a start-up organization legally incorporated in North Carolina with an application pending for tax-exempt status. It’s born of parents who have deep experience with severe mental and behavioral health challenges in their children and a desire to support others and seek improvements in the mental health system.
We are seeking passionate, innovative leaders of high character to serve as ambassadors of SHHIP’s mission and vision. They will be tasked with fiduciary oversight of the organization as well as helping to develop policies and governance to ensure the long-term financial and organizational health.
We are seeking North Carolina residents from the following fields of expertise to serve on the inaugural board of directors. Time requirements and compensation are not yet known. At least two full-day workshops (Saturday) will be held in or near Fuquay-Varina during the next calendar year. Virtual board meetings are planned each month.
